try acetone, which is the active ingredient in nail polish remover. Just get the real stuff at your local hardware store.How do you take dry nail polish out of carpet?
Slowly use nail polish remover.....do NOT rub into the carpet. Soften it with a wet q-tip and dap it up. It will take time and patience, but you should be able to save the carpet. Again, not too much and do NOT rub into the carpet fibers.
