Is there a dry wall nail, like there is a dry wall screw?

For heavy pictures that you are using nails for?Is there a dry wall nail, like there is a dry wall screw?
yes there is, but don't use them if possible.

If your hanging pictures get a proper heavy duty, wing back drywall hanger. You drill a hole into the drywall, slide the hanger in the drywall and it springs open to press against the back of the panel. If it's a real heavy picture maybe you'll want to hang two wires or chains or fishing line from the header on top of the studs. This method, if done correctly can support several hundred lbs.Is there a dry wall nail, like there is a dry wall screw?
yeah there are nails to hang drywall, but if i were you id use screws to hang pictures--less likely to pull out of the drywall
Sara, they make picture hangers that can hold up to 150 lbs. They are simple to use,and don't leave a big hole in the wall. If you are hanging a heavy picture, get the ones that look like a bent flat hook, and uses a nail going into it at a angle. I think Home-craft makes them. They go up to 150 lbs. It's the angle of the nail against the angle of the hook that supports the weight of the picture. Easy, easy, easy. Byee
Yes, A store like Lowe's will have them.
